The best thing about Sublime Text is that it is open source and it has a great feature of packages. This feature saves me a lot of time and I don't have to write as much code.

Sublime Text: simple and fast
We use sublime text as a Non-IDE solution for development, is a powerful text editor worth the money. if you prefer the simplicity of text editors, Sublime Text must be on the top in the list. It's a very very fast text editor without much heavy components or toolbars. Its loading time is less than 1 second. Its Auto-completion feature makes its best in its class, it helps us to write fast and simple scripts for automation

Sublime Text - Great Editor!
Sublime Text has a simple and integrated interface. I personally use Sublime Text for taking quick meeting notes. Sublime Text offers simultaneous editing of multiple lines and code blocks at the same time, which increases efficiency and also reduces the time taken to do tasks repeatedly. The free version offers almost all the features of the paid version.

Easy on the Eyes
Sublime Text is my go-to for any extensive coding or for when I need to write new code. The CMS I'm using has only small boxes for inputting code and often results in a lot of scrolling with little option to extend the size of the box. Sublime Text helps me to open up the code and see it clearly and as more of a complete whole. It's also helpful because it will automatically adjust the colors to whichever code format. This makes it easier to find and recognize issues, and just to read. (My CMS displays any code as all one color).
- User-Friendly and Intuitive – it's a pretty simple and straight forward software that doesn't take much to learn how to use.
- Aesthetically Pleasing - the design of the program, especially the colors used when a code type is selected, is pleasing to the eye.
- Makes code more readable – being able to take the whole of a chunk of code and open it up in this software, with the colors indicating types of elements within the code, makes it much easier to read the code, locate errors, and do complex work with it.
- Auto-recognize code type – it would be nice to have it recognize what type of code without manually selecting it every time or even just a default setting for your most commonly used code type.
- Being able to run/test the code without using another software would be very helpful
- Invalid code detector – for code like CSS, something that flags anything that isn't a valid standard code type.

Free Editor that Packs a Punch.
I use Sublime Text as my primary text editor for viewing source files and navigating code. It is a flexible editor that works with any programming language and is very customizable.

Sublime Text is one of the largest Text Editors with IDE and is one of the underrated Text Editors as a developer I have used so many editors but so far Sublime is one of the best and we can write code in any language and support all languages ​​very well. it is open source and anyone can use this Editor. The problem like as Software developers need to work on different languages/technologies and for those all languages/technologies we can write code in this only.

Text Editor for (nearly) everything
This is being used by nearly all the people in my organization. It is mainly so since it has features for nearly all programming languages and supports plugins for the same. It is addressing the problem of writing efficient code fast by helping us with autocomplete, simultaneous output, color-coded codes, and other features.
- It is very light and boots up instantaneously.
- It has tons of plugins that will help you to customize sublime entirely according to your needs and thereby is not bloated
- Package control is really easy to work with and most plugins can be installed in 2 just clicks.
- Free version has nearly all the features of the paid version.
- Its User Interface is simple and makes it easy to located many features.
- It gives you a ton of control over your ide setting through User-settings where you can customize almost everything.
- The free version keeps bugging to buy and gets irritating(on the contrary buying it is worth it in my opinion)
- Git integration is clumsy and sometimes glitchy and has room for improvement.

Sublime is the ideal text editor I’ve found for my C++ programming language, and it works very well. C++ code editing has all the features we would expect. Unlike many other IDEs, Sublime does not memory-intensive and starts up. I like the idea of being able to see a vertical miniature. I can find code sections more thoroughly and hide code groups, which helps me avoid tinkering with unnecessary parts. There is nothing more appealing about this software than its excellent coding environment.
- Using colorful coding makes it simple to review or write code and accurate code completion.
- In Sublime Text, there are a lot of shortcuts. It's easy to manipulate text, and we can text package controls to save a lot of time.
- Fast and efficient, Sublime Text is ideal for working with large datasets. In turn, it enhances the enjoyment we derive from coding.
- Plugins are easier to use and less complicated but transferring your license to a new computer isn't as simple as it sounds.
- Sublime has an automatic file comparison feature, but it's challenging to use and should be improved.
- Adding the ability to mark or highlight the text with different colors would be an excellent application.

Sublime text, a sublime code editor experience
Sublime text is my main code editor. It's light, fast and reliable. As well, its plugin market has a lot of modules that may improve its usage without [sacrificing] too much performance. Since version 4.x it has improved significantly allowing code styling for several programming languages natively. Also, its dark theme is smooth so the user's eyes adapt quickly and do not suffer when using it

We use Sublime Text only within our department (IT). It helps us write the configuration coding for our network and IT devices. It's been very helpful to our department, the app provides a lot of useful features like writing on multiple lines at the same time and comparing the files with multiple layout views, either vertically or horizontally, its definitely great at assisting the app for our daily work.
In fact, I'm not using sublime text to it extent, there are many features and plug-ins which I didn't experience yet, my work on sublime focus on writing and modifying scripts which are later compiled to codes for networking devices at our organization. Before I use sublime I was writing these codes on note or word files, but after using sublime text I found it much easier and faster to write these codes with sublime.

Perfect Text Editor
Sublime Text is used only by some departments in our organization. In our department, we do data scraping using Python. In order to do this, you must know a little bit of HTML and CSS. We use Sublime Text as a text editor to write Python, HTML, and CSS codes as it is very fast, easy to use, and has very good code completion.

- As I mentioned earlier code completion is really accurate

As close as you can get to the perfect text editor
Our research department uses Sublime Text as our primary text editor for anything code-related, primarily web apps we write in Python, and any associated work (HTML, CSS, javascript, etc). Occasionally we use Sublime Text to manually parse through JSON data when the files aren't too large and it's easier to scan it by eye than running it through a script. Sublime Text allows us to very easily visualize different code components, identify errors, and keep our code base clean.
- Sublime Text does an incredible job with appropriate color coding and syntax definitions; makes code extremely readable
- Tab selection is very well done; easy to see which files have been changed and to compare across multiple files
- Auto-complete is surprisingly effective and accurate
- Support for Apple M1 processors already
- Porting your license to a new machine isn't easy
- Syntax awareness can get a bit buggy in particular context situations (i.e. django variables inside javascript)
- Can be a bit of a pain to navigate the myriad settings

Simply Sublime
Several teams in my department use Sublime Text as a code editor in addition to using Visual Studio or Visual Code. Sublime Text has the benefit of being lightweight and flexible, so if you want to use it as just a text editor, you can. If you want to use it for working with JavaScript, you can add a plugin or two, and you're good to go.
- It's lightweight so it isn't clunky or slow.
- It's flexible; you can add or remove plugins to use it how it best suits you.
- You can integrate compilers with it.
- You have to add plugins to make it a functional IDE (it isn't an IDE out of the box).
- You do need to research to find the right plugin(s) for your use case(s).

Reclaim Your Time With Sublime Text
Sublime Text is my workhorse text editor. In a world with a myriad of text editors, it really stands out. Editing text can often be a tedious affair filled with lots of repetitive tasks. Sublime Text does an excellent job of streamlining navigation and reducing the amount of time needed to handle these tasks. It removes the helps mitigate the mindless tasks and helps you focus on the parts that require thought.
- The biggest advantage over many other editors is the ability to open large files. Some editors just can't open a CSV with millions of lines but Sublime Text does it like a champ.
- Multiple selections let you change or create many instances of the same variable or value with ease.
- The Goto Anything simplifies navigation and lets you control, open, or move within files without ever having to take your hands off the keyboard.
- Likewise, the command palette allows you to access any of the application's functionality right from the keyboard.
- It is highly customizable with a rich ecosystem of third party plugins and the ability to create your own.
- In a world of free and open text editors, Sublime Text does ask for donations. You can use the product freely with only a very infrequent popup asking for donations. You can use it however long you like without paying, but it is well worth it to donate to.
- People not used to the functionality may need a bit of time to get up to speed using the documentation.
- An integrated terminal would be nice, but that is just a quibble. It's hard to find many cons with Sublime Text.

It solved the business problem of having to pay for an IDE as it is open source. For myself, it addressed the issue of needing a single IDE for coding across several languages for certain projects.

Sublime Text was used by the web dev department of my company for probably about three years. We used it for local development of HTML, CSS, and PHP for Wordpress and for HubSpot sites. We started developing using SASS when we got into using Sublime Text.

Sublime Text is easy to use
Sublime Text is being used in our middle school technology classes where they are writing code. It is used for writing code in web design (HTML, CSS, and javascript) and python. It is an easy text editor to use and does not take very long at all to learn. There isn't much to it which is nice.
- Can easily write code.
- Simple to use.
- Very powerful even though it is quite simple.
- Not as user friendly when working on a Mac.
I cannot speak for the whole organization but I use it as my second choice of text editor for software development work. It's a lightweight, free text editor which allows me to quickly open any code-related file extensions such as .py .json .js .java, etc. So this is basically the business problem solved by this product.

A fast and powerful text editor that developers love
Sublime Text is an outstanding, lightweight text editor. While a portion of our organization uses a more complex IDE, we all enjoy using Sublime for its speed, efficient design, and simplicity. Marketing roles inside our company that do not normally write code, use Sublime Text to be able to modify HTML files, and we don't have to worry about explaining a complex IDE to them.
- Sublime Text is powerful where you need it to be, but simple and out of your way at the same time.
- Great keyboard shortcuts and multi-selection options
- Great package manager installation process for easily extending functionality
- Not exactly a con, but some organizations like ours may have a reason for continuing to use a more complex IDE along with a tool like Sublime for certain tasks. Though I don't think anyone on our team would want Sublime to turn into a bloated IDE.
- Sublime Text has created a separate product called Sublime Merge that acts as a version control GUI. Personally I don't use this, but I would want to if it was built-into Sublime Text as a single app. It isn't the extra cost that is the issue, rather that I would personally prefer Sublime Merge to optionally be able to be run inside a separate pane in the current sublime window. We use a JetBrains IDE that provides a version control tool built into the same app as the code editor. This is a minor issue, and I respect that some customers prefer the separate apps.
As far as I can tell, Sublime Text is mainly used by the R&D department, and it's not a company policy - The R&D employees use it only if they wish to.
The main problem it helps to solve is analyzing large amount of texts like logs (searching inside, finding similarities or irregularities) or updating big text files (very useful and flexible "find & replace" capabilities).

Sublime Text is one of the [most] elegant code editors that I have ever came across. It is widely being used within the department as well as the whole organization for various purposes, such as writing code, [...] bash scripts on the servers to automate the tasks, [...] [and] submitting jobs on the server. It works perfectly on the local machines and on the server as well.

A Versatile and Diverse Text Editor
Our organisation mainly deals with Web Development Apps so we need an editor that can out point errors and give suggestions about the syntax in different languages even on the same page. It's common to have Java Scripts and PHP along with HTML, CSS on the same page. The best feature about this tool is it makes suggestions to the user about the common syntax on the language that you are working, without any external setting.
Other great thing about this tool is its tab view of different pages altogether that makes navigation too easy unlike other competitors. You also have Tree view of the files and folder you are working on the left column for quick works.
Moreover it has this feature which almost no other tool has: a "zoomed-out" view of the page pinned to right top corner for pointing a particular portion of module on your thousands of lines of work.

Sublime Text is a fast intuitive text editor for quick coding
It's used by personal preference by a subset of developers. It's a fast, lightweight text editor that I personally use for front-end development. I prefer it over other editors simply because I like the interface and its relative speed. Other developers also use it primarily for Javascript or CSS/HTML development.
- Syntax highlighting for JavaScript is great.
- Distraction free mode.
- Not sure if I just am not using it right but JavaScript syntax error highlighting isn't obvious.
- Doesn't remember word wrap as a setting.
